Many people know that they should have an empty stomach before the physical examination, and they can't eat greasy and spicy food the night before. In addition to these routine preparations, I never thought that taking vitamin C before the physical examination would affect the examination results.

As a strong reducing agent, vitamin C will affect the test results if it is not stopped. For example, with the interference of vitamin C, the result of urine sugar test will change from positive to negative, and the result of blood sugar test will be unstable. 

At the same time, vitamin C will cause the positive result to become negative in the urine and fecal occult blood. It is worth mentioning that occult blood sometimes means that it is related to tumor.

In addition to the vitamin C tablets and multivitamin tablets we usually take, there are many ways to extract vitamin C in our life.

Fruits like lemon juice or orange juice can affect the content of vitamin C in the body, which will also affect our physical examination results.

So what we need to do three days before the physical examination is to try to avoid eating fruits or foods rich in vitamin C so as not to affect the physical examination results.
